In recognition of Black History Month, im体育, Inc., and the FMC Community Foundation are pleased to present scholarships to 12 local African American high school students in our service area who have expressed their desire to attend a post-secondary institution and major in a health-related field of study.
Congratulations to these students who will receive a $1000 scholarship in recognition of Black History Month and in honor of Mary Eliza Mahoney, the first black American to work as a professionally trained nurse in the United States and Dr. Kizzmekia Corbett, 病毒免疫学家和研究科学家, who played a central role in the research effort to develop a COVID-19 vaccine in record time.

She has competed in varsity basketball, volleyball, and as a member of the French Club. She enjoys participating with groups at her church, singing, art, drawing, and painting. Jazmin has been accepted into several schools and universities throughout Kentucky and plans to become a physical therapist or ultrasound technician.
LaMya Wordlow is a senior at Bardstown High School and plans to attend the University of Louisville to become a nurse. She has competed in volleyball and participates in 美国卫生职业学生俱乐部 and Junior Optimist International. LaMya喜欢阅读和烘焙.
